Ohio Wesleyan 27, Salve Regina 5 (3/14/2002)

Senior first baseman Drew Caravella (Columbus/Hilliard Davidson) and junior outfielder Travis Falk (Bryan) tied school records in a non-conference win over Salve Regina in the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic on Thursday in Cape Coral, Fla.

Caravella and Falk each tied a school record with 5 hits in the game, marking the second time in 3 days that Caravella had accomplished the feat. Falk drove in 7 runs, tying for fourth place on the all-time Bishop single-game list, while Caravella had 3 RBI. Junior third baseman Mark Wherry (Dublin/Scioto) cracked a grand slam.

Senior lefthander Matt Farmwald (Plain City/Jonathan Alder) recorded the win.
