Senior first baseman Drew Caravella (Columbus/Hilliard Davidson), junior shortstop Seth Tenpenny (Powell/Worthington Kilbourne) and sophomore third baseman Tyler Mott (Grove City) each lined RBI singles during a 3-run seventh and junior outfielder Joe Loudenslager (Hilliard/Darby) added a 2-run homer to break open a non-conference win in the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic on Thursday in Cape Coral, Fla.

Junior righthander Shaun Burchett (Plain City/Jonathan Alder) struck out 10 in 4.0 innings of hitless relief to pick up the win. Freshman righthander Nick Vadasz (Naples, Fla./Westlake (Ohio) allowed 3 hits over the first 4.0 innings.
