1st of 18 at Denison Invitational (4/13/2002) Junior Jay Tilton (Cincinnati/Windon Woods) led the Bishops to a first-place finish at the Denison Invitational held on Saturday at Granville Golf Club in Granville. Sunday's second round was rained out. Ohio Wesleyan won team honors by 3 strokes, carding a 293 to DePauw's 296. Wooster finished in third place at 302, followed by Mount Union (303), John Carroll (305), Denison (306), Muskingum and Franklin (307) and Olivet (308). Baldwin-Wallace rounded out the top 10 with a 311, followed by Wittenberg (316), Capital (317), Anderson and New York University (318), Heidelberg (324), Manchester (328), Case Reserve (332) and Kenyon (340). Tilton finished in third place among individuals with a 71. Sophomore Chad Poling (Delaware/Hayes) and senior Jason Job (Akron/Revere) tied for sixth place at 73, junior Jonathan Wilson (Dayton/Vandalia-Butler) for 19th place at 76 and junior Jeremy Meade (Wayland, Mass.) tied for 45th place with a 79.
