Ninth place at Gordin Collegiate Classic (10/14 and 10/15/2001) Junior Jeremy Meade (Wayland, Mass.) led the Bishops to a ninth-place finish at the Gordin Collegiate Classic tournament held on Sunday and Monday at the Deer Track Golf Resort in Surfside Beach, S.C. Complete results Methodist won team honors with an 893, edging Savannah College of Art & Design by 3 strokes and Guilford by 4 shots. Oglethorpe finished in fourth place at 905, edging Greensboro's total of 906. Gustavus Adolphus was sixth at 918, followed by Skidmore at 921 and Wisconsin-Eau Claire at 922. Ohio Wesleyan placed ninth at 928, followed by St. John's (941), Averett (958) and Muskingum (964). Meade tied for 21st place among individuals with a 229. Junior Jay Tilton (Cincinnati/Windon Woods) tied for 30th place with a 233, sophomore Adam Pry (Bucyrus/Shelby) tied for 34th place with a 234, sophomore Chad Poling (Delaware/Hayes) tied for 39th place with a 236 and senior Jason Job (Akron/Revere) finished in a tie for 50th place with a 244.
