Ohio Dominican 66, Ohio Wesleyan 45 (11/28/2001)

Ohio Dominican pulled away down the stretch in defeating Ohio Wesleyan in non-conference play on Wednesday in Columbus.

Leading, 47-40, with 9:33 to play, the Panthers outscored the Bishops 19-5 during the remainder of the game as Ohio Wesleyan scored 2 more baskets during that span. The Bishops went scoreless from the field during the final 4:40 of play.

Sophomore center Travis Schwab (Medina) led the Bishops with 18 points and added 8 rebounds, while freshman forward Brandon Cole (Sidney) grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds and sophomore guard Shawn Kindred (Delaware/Hayes) led the Bishops with 4 assists.

The Bishops hit 8 of 30 shots from the field during the second half, a 26.7 percent clip.

Ryan Wilson led Ohio Dominican with 20 points.
