8th of 9 at GLCA meet (9/8/2001)

Freshman Paul Loehle (Fairfield/Hamilton Badin) led the Bishops at the Great Lakes Colleges Association meet hosted by Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.

Kenyon won the meet with 41 points to 48 for runner-up DePauw. Albion was third with 85 points and Wabash placed fourth with 89 points. Wooster (121), Kalamazoo (177), Denison (181), Ohio Wesleyan (209) and Earlham (228) completed the team scores.

Loehle finished 32nd in a time of 29:49. Freshman Bill Bedford (Strongsville/Strongsville) followed in 38th place in 30:24, freshman Christopher Monaco (Mayfield Heights/University) was 47th in 31:05, junior Matt Mead (Dunkirk, N.Y./Fredonia Central) placed 54th in 44:09 and freshman Tom Woodcock (Louisville, Ky./St. Francis) completed the Bishop scoring with a 63rd-place finish in 32:05.
