30th of 33 at All-Ohio championship (10/5/2001)

Freshman Mike Synk (Strongsville) led the Bishops at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate championship meet on Friday at the Methodist Theological School in Delaware, Ohio.

The University of Cincinnati won the meet with 59 points to 89 for runner-up Kent State. Complete results

Synk finished 135th in 28:56.5. Freshman Paul Loehle (Fairfield/Hamilton Badin) placed 159th in 29:25.7, followed by junior Matt Mead (Dunkirk, N.Y./Fredonia Central) in 160th place in 29:26.5. Freshman Bill Bedford (Strongsville) finished in 163rd place in 29:27.8 and freshman Christopher Monaco (Mayfield Heights/University) completed the Bishop scoring with a 188th-place finish in 30:14.2.
