4th of 4 at Ohio Northern (10/13/2001)

Freshman Mike Synk (Strongsville) led the Bishops in a quadrangular meet on Saturday at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.

Otterbein won the meet with 30 points to 52 for runner-up Oberlin. Ohio Northern placed third with 54 points and Ohio Wesleyan was fourth with 88 points.

Synk finished 14th among individuals. Freshman Christopher Monaco (Mayfield Heights/University) placed 16th, junior Matt Mead (Dunkirk, N.Y./Fredonia Central) was 19th, freshman Bill Bedford (Strongsville) finished in 22nd place and freshman Tom Woodcock (Louisville, Ky./St. Francis) completed the Bishop scoring with a 27th-place finish. No individual times were available.
