7th of 8 at GLCA meet (9/8/2001)

Sophomore Leah Cressman (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) led the Bishops at the Great Lakes Colleges Association meet on Saturday at Earlham College in Richmond, Ind.

DePauw won the meet with 42 points to 53 for runner-up Kenyon. Denison was third with 87 points and Wooster placed fourth with 99 points. Earlham (100), Kalamazoo (147), Ohio Wesleyan (148) and Albion (185) rounded out the team scores.

Cressman placed 15th among individuals in 21:20. Senior Katie Holder (New Philadelphia) finished 18th in 21:30, freshman Erin Eilbeck (Berea) was 33rd in 22:29, sophomore Liz Tullberg (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda Chevy Chase) finished 37th in 22:43 and junior Katie Feran (Kirtland) placed 46th in 23:03.
