9th of 9 at NCAC Championship (10/27/2001)

Sophomore Leah Cressman (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) led the Bishops at the North Coast Athletic Conference championship meet on Saturday at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Ind.

Kenyon won the meet with 56 points to 69 for runner-up Allegheny. Denison placed third with 80 points and Oberlin was fourth with 89 points, followed by Wittenberg (118), Earlham (151), Wooster (156), Hiram (215) and Ohio Wesleyan (218).

Cressman placed 40th among individuals in 21:08.82, followed by freshman Erin Eilbeck (Berea) in 41st place in 21:12.88 and senior Katie Holder (New Philadelphia) in 42nd place in 21:13.11. Sophomore Liz Tullberg (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda Chevy Chase) placed 46th in 21:20.45 and senior Tina Chin (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) completed the Bishop scoring with a 62nd-place finish in 22:04.57.
