Ohio Wesleyan 2, Transylvania 1

Senior forward Jessica McElmurray (Worthington/Thomas Worthington) and freshman forward Mallory Anderson (Lake George, N.Y.) scored to lift the Bishops over Transylvania in their season opener on Saturday in Lexington, Ky.

Senior midfielder Danielle Stilson (Ann Arbor, Mich./Huron) was credited with an assist on McElmurray's goal.

Sophomore Liz Stone (Deep River, Conn./Valley Regional) had 3 saves in the first half and freshman Tonya Bickel (Dublin/Scioto) had 4 saves in the second half.
