Chaney Stewman scored twice to lead Oberlin past Ohio Wesleyan in North Coast Athletic Conference play on Wednesday at the Henry Street Field.

Stewman scored an unassisted goal with 27:52 left in the first half, taking a short shot off a penalty corner and finding the back of the cage.

Oberlin increased its lead to 2-0 later in the half when Monica Gregnan scored a rebound goal. After an Oberlin penalty corner, Ohio Wesleyan keeper Liz Stone (Deep River, Conn./Valley Regional) and the Bishop defense turned away 2 Yeowomen shots, but Gregnan's third shot was true with 13:47 left in the first half.

Stewman wrapped up the scoring by redirecting a Jaime Johnson shot past Stone and into the cage. Johnson was credited with an assist on the play.

Ohio Wesleyan peppered Oberlin keeper Siv Tang with 16 shots, forcing Tang to make 10 saves. The Yeowomen finished with 8 shots, with Stone recording 3 saves. Ohio Wesleyan enjoyed the edge in penalty corners by a 15-9 margin.
