Maddie Newcomb put Kenyon on the scoreboard in the first half and Liz Aragona added a second-half insurance goal as Kenyon defeated the Bishops in North Coast Athletic Conference play on Saturday at Gambier.

Newcomb's unassisted goal came with 11:00 left in the first half. Sarah Wasserman was credited with an assist on Aragona's goal, which came with 27:48 left in regulation time.

Freshman goalkeeper Tonya Bickel (Dublin/Scioto) made 5 saves for Ohio Wesleyan. Tamar Chalker was credited with 10 saves for Kenyon. Ohio Wesleyan outshot Kenyon, 10-5, while Kenyon had 9 penalty corners to 8 for the Bishops.
