Denison 5, Ohio Wesleyan 0

Nina Housel and Jenny Lacy scored 2 goals apiece as Denison topped the Bishops in North Coast Athletic Conference play on Tuesday at Granville. The game, originally scheduled for Oct. 3, was postponed because of thunderstorms in Granville.

Housel gave the Big Red a 1-0 lead with an unassisted goal approximately 7 minutes into the game and Kelsie Tomlinson followed with an unassisted goal about 4 minutes later. Lacy made it 3-0 with a goal off an assist from Kelsey Ill with 18:28 left in the first half, then set up Housel for a goal just over a minute later. Lacy wrapped up the scoring with a goal midway through the second half.

Sophomore goalkeeper Liz Stone (Deep River, Conn./Valley Regional) made 6 saves for Ohio Wesleyan. Sarah Robator was credited with 6 saves for Denison. Denison outshot Ohio Wesleyan, 23-13, and had 11 penalty corners to 7 for the Bishops.
