1st of 13 at Muskingum Invitational

March 28-29, 2003

Junior Chad Poling (Delaware/Hayes), senior Jay Tilton (Cincinnati/Winton Woods) and junior Adam Pry (Bucyrus/Shelby) led the Bishops to the team title at the Muskingum Invitational on Saturday at Eaglesticks Golf Club in Zanesville.

Ohio Wesleyan totaled a 590 to take team honors by 3 strokes over runner-up Denison. Muskingum finished in third place at 609, followed by Otterbein (615), Baldwin-Wallace (618), Wittenberg (626), Wooster and Mount Union (638), Ohio Northern (642), Grove City (649), Thomas More (658), Kenyon (662) and Capital (671).

Poling, Tilton and Pry all finished in a tie for fourth place among individuals, each finishing with a 147. Senior Jeremy Meade (Wayland, Mass.) tied for eighth place at 149 and freshman Justin Schroeder (Shelby) tied for 41st place at 162.
