Ohio Wesleyan 14, Stevens Tech 7

Senior midfielder Andy Rowe (Alpharetta, Ga./Penfield, N.Y.) tied a school record as Ohio Wesleyan broke open a close game in the second half to knock off Stevens Tech in non-conference action on Wednesday in Baltimore, Md.

The Bishops led, 5-4, at halftime before outscoring the Ducks, 9-3, during the second half.

Rowe led the Bishops with 7 goals, tying the school single-game record for goals by a midfielder. The record was set by Rich Eyring against Mount Union in 1983.

Sophomore attacker John Schlegel (Chevy Chase, Md./Gonzaga) added 2 goals and 3 assists, senior midfielder Michael Long (New Market, Md./Linganore) had 2 goals and 2 assists and senior midfielder Frank Bedford (Villanova, Pa./Radnor) contributed 2 goals and an assist.

Sophomore Paul McCommons (Smyrna, Del./Dover) finished with 17 saves in the Bishop goal.
