Sophomore Bill Bedford (Strongsville/Strongsville) led the Bishops at the ONU Homecoming Invitational on Saturday at Ohio Northern University in Ada.

Mount Union won the meet with 60 points to 80 for runner-up Otterbein. Case Reserve edged Kenyon for third place, 98 points to 99. Heidelberg finished in fifth place with 108 points, followed by Albion (120), Ohio Northern (161), Denison (194), Hiram (267), Ohio Wesleyan (302) and Wittenberg (309).

Bedford finished 68th in a time of 28:07.02. Sophomore Paul Loehle (Fairfield/Hamilton Badin) followed in 71st place in 28:11.36, sophomore Tom Woodcock (Louisville, Ky./St. Francis) placed 83rd in 28:26.28, senior Michael Clinton (Troy, Mich.) was 94th in 28:52.37 and senior Matt Mead (Dunkirk, N.Y./Fredonia Central) completed the Bishop scoring with a 98th-place finish in 29:02.94.
