5th of 8 at Wilmington

Freshman Nina DiTraglia (Portsmouth/Gilmour Academy) led the Bishops at the Wilmington Invitational on Saturday in Wilmington.

Denison won the meet with 34 points to 45 for runner-up Mount Union. Otterbein finished third with 47 points and Defiance was fourth with 131 points. Ohio Wesleyan (133) and Wilmington (156) completed the team scores, while Columbus State and Central State did not post team scores.

DiTraglia finished 19th in a time of 20:34.59. Freshman Meggie Feran (Kirtland) followed in 22nd place in 20:56.59, freshman Meghan Spence (Granville) placed 27th in 21:11.50, sophomore Erin Eilbeck (Berea) finished 36th in 21:46.24 and senior Katie Feran (Kirtland) completed the Bishop scoring with a 43rd-place finish in 22:23.58.
