Freshman Meggie Feran (Kirtland) led the Bishops at the North Coast Athetic Conference championship meet on Saturday at John Bryan State Park in Yellow Springs. The meet was hosted by Wittenberg University.

Allegheny won the NCAC championship with 42 points to 61 for runner-up Oberlin. Kenyon finished in third place with 74 points, followed by Denison (88), Wooster (152), Earlham (182), Wittenberg (183), Hiram (209) and Ohio Wesleyan (237).

Feran finished 45th among individuals, covering the 5000-meter course in a time of 20:31. Freshman Meghan Spence (Granville) was right behind in 46th place in 20:32, freshman Nina DiTraglia (Portsmouth/Gilmour Academy) was 55th in 20:55, junior Liz Tullberg (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda Chevy Chase) followed in 57th place in 21:00 and sophomore Erin Eilbeck (Berea) completed the Bishop scoring with a 67th-place finish in 21:27.
