Wisconsin-Oshkosh 10, Ohio Wesleyan 4

Senior outfielder Mike Albert (Shelby) lined a 2-run triple to highlight a 3-run fourth inning that brought the Bishops within 6-4, but Wisconsin-Oshkosh went on to defeat Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday in Port Charlotte, Fla.

Sophomore shortstop Brandon Williams (Dublin/Coffman) drove in a run to pull the Bishops within 2-1 in the top of the third, but the Titans dented the rubber 4 times in the bottom of the inning, with the key hit being Bryan Schwebke's 2-run triple.

Albert's 2-run triple highlighted the Bishops' 3-run fourth, but Wisconsin-Oshkosh got 3 runs back in the fifth and added another in the seventh.

Albert, Williams, junior outfielder Matt Strasburg (Oak Hill, Va./Oakton), senior catcher Mike Schultheis (Columbus/Watterson), freshman second baseman Sean Ring (Hilliard/Davidson) and sophomore outfielder Adam Toney (Galloway/Westland) each had 2 hits for the Bishops.

Senior righthander Shaun Burchett (Plain City/Jonathan Alder) was the starting and losing pitcher for Ohio Wesleyan. He allowed 4 hits and 6 runs in 3.0 innings. Sophomore lefthander Josh Nice (Hinckley/Highland) and sophomore righthander Bryan Popa (Akron/Revere) pitched in relief for the Bishops.
