In the opener, the Bishops erupted for 11 runs in the third and iced the
game with 9 more runs in the fourth after Wabash had taken a 3-0 lead
in the first, thanks in part to Mike Mack's 2-run double.
With one out in the third, Williams singled and moved to third on a double
by junior outfielder Matt Strasburg (Oak Hill, Va./Oakton). Freshman outfielder
Kyle Sherman (Plain City/Dublin Scioto) walked to load the bases and senior

the Bishops within 3-2. Busch walked to load the bases and senior catcher
Mike Schultheis (Columbus/Watterson) and senior second baseman Brad Whitman
(Canfield) drew walks to force in runs, giving the Bishops a 4-3 lead.
Freshman designated hitter Sean Ring (Hilliard/Davidson) followed with
a grounder that Wabash first baseman Bill Goff misplayed for an error,
with Busch scoring on the play, and one out later, Williams cleared the
bases with a double to right center. Strasburg singled home Williams before
Sherman capped the inning witha 2-run homer.
Busch and sophomore outfielder Ryan Shelton (Cincinnati/Wyoming) had 2-run
singles to highlight the Bishop fourth. Williams and Sherman also
had RBI singles during the frame.

the first 5.0 innings for the Bishops, scattering 6 hits and striking
out 2 while walking 4, to pick up his fifth win of the season.
Jon Horne was the starting and losing pitcher for Wabash.
In the nightcap, Busch's second homer of the game capped a 4-run third
inning that put Ohio Wesleyan ahead to stay.
Wabash jumped to a first-inning lead, going up 2-0 on Goff's 2-run homer.
The Bishops answered with 6 runs in the bottom of the inning, pulling
within 2-1 on Sherman's RBI single before Busch hit a 2-run shot the put
Ohio Wesleyan ahead, 3-2. Schultheis followed with a solo homer for a
4-2 Bishop lead before Shelton lined a 2-run single to make it 6-2.
The Little Giants loaded the bases with nobody out against sophomore lefthander
Josh Nice (Hinckley/Highland) and came up with 4 runs, scoring on 2 walks,
a hit batsman and an error by Busch.
Ohio Wesleyan got the 4 runs back in the bottom of the inning, with Sherman
and Mott lining RBI singles before Busch's 2-run homer made the score
10-6 in favor of the Bishops.
Williams, Strasburg and Mott drove in runs to highlight Ohio Wesleyan's
4-run fourth and Strasburg added another RBI in the fifth.
