Elayne Brown scored 1:04 into the first overtime period to give Wooster a North Coast Athletic Conference win over Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday in Wooster.

The Fighting Scots jumped to a quick lead when Katie Baron scored an unassisted goal 2:35 into the game.

Sophomore attacker Natalie Pearson (Harrison, N.Y./Greenwich (Conn.)) tied the game at 1-1 with an unassisted goal with 20:27 left in the first half.

During the second half, Wooster piled up 16 shots and 12 penalty corners but could not solve junior Liz Stone (Deep River, Conn./Valley Regional) and the rest of the Bishop defense. Stone was credited with 7 saves during the second half alone.

For the game, Wooster outshot Ohio Wesleyan, 27-4. Stone finished with 9 saves in the Ohio Wesleyan cage. Anne Leigh had 1 save for Wooster.
