Katy Barrett scored a pair of first-half goals to put Wittenberg ahead to stay and the Tigers went on to defeat Ohio Wesleyan in North Coast Athletic Conference play on Wednesday at the Henry Street Field.

Barrett staked Wittenberg to a 1-0 lead with an unassisted goal with 15:11 left in the first half. She added another goal, courtesy of a feed from Blair Ufer, with 1:31 left in the first half.

Wittenberg's Melissa Jackson wrapped up the scoring with 1:37 left in regulation time, knocking home a loose ball from in front of the cage.

Wittenberg outshot Ohio Wesleyan, 22-6. Junior Liz Stone (Deep River, Conn./Valley Regional) had 7 saves in the Ohio Wesleyan cage. Jen Meyer had 2 saves for Wittenberg.
