Junior wing Meredith Bynum (Winston-Salem, N.C./Forsyth Country Day) scored :29 into the game to put Ohio Wesleyan ahead to stay and the Bishops went on to defeat Washington & Jefferson in non-conference action on Saturday in Washington, Pa.

Sophomore attacker Natalie Pearson (Harrison, N.Y./Greenwich (Conn.)) was credited with an assist on Bynum's goal.

Ohio Wesleyan added to the lead midway through the second half when freshman attacker Abbey Kelley (West Bloomfield, Mich./Mercy) scored an unassisted goal with 14:06 left in regulation time.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Washington & Jefferson,12-4. Junior Liz Stone (Deep River, Conn./Valley Regional) had 3 saves in the Ohio Wesleyan cage. Heather Brown had 5 saves for the Presidents.
