Blair Ufer scored a first-half goal to give Wittenberg the lead and Katie Babcock scored one goal and set up another as Wittenberg defeated Ohio Wesleyan in North Coast Athletic Conference action on Saturday at Springfield.

Ufer's goal came off an assist by Holly McHugh with 19:47 left in the first half. Babcock scored just under 6 minutes into the second half, with Julia Wickham credited with an assist on the play, then fed Jaimee McGhee for a goal with 17:05 left in regulation time.

Wittenberg outshot the Bishops, 30-12. Junior Liz Stone (Deep River, Conn./Valley Regional) had 12 saves in the Ohio Wesleyan cage. Jen Meyer had 5 saves for Wittenberg.
