Denison 4, Ohio Wesleyan 1

Blair Deckard scored twice to help Denison build a 4-0 lead on the way to a win over Ohio Wesleyan in North Coast Athletic Conference action on Tuesday in Granville.

Deckard opened the scoring with an unassisted goal 3:32 into the game. Jenny Lacey made it 2-0 with a goal off an assist from Karen Lancaster.

Deckard and Kate Danaher added second-half goals as Denison built a 4-0 lead.

Freshman attacker Abbey Kelley (West Bloomfield, Mich./Mercy) put Ohio Wesleyan on the scoreboard with a goal with 6:11 left in regulation time.

Denison outshot the Bishops, 19-7. Junior Liz Stone (Deep River, Conn./Valley Regional) had 7 saves in the Ohio Wesleyan cage. Sarah Robator had 5 saves for Wittenberg.
