Senior Chad Poling (Delaware/Hayes) won medalist honors in a playoff to lead Ohio Wesleyan to the team title at the Ted Barclay Invitational, hosted by Denison University on Friday and Saturday at Granville Golf Club.

Ohio Wesleyan won the tournament with consecutive rounds of 300 to finish at 600, 8 shots ahead of host Denison. Wooster finished in third place at 613, followed by DePauw and Olivet (614), Muskingum (615), Franklin (620), Wittenberg (625),
John Carroll and Baldwin-Wallace (626), Calvin (627), Hope (629), Manchester (640), Anderson (645), Mount Union (648) and Kenyon (654).

Poling won a playoff for medalist honors after finishing in a tie with Wooster's Andy Van Horn, each with a 145. Sophomore Justin Schroeder (Shelby) tied for eighth place with a 150, senior Adam Pry (Bucyrus/Shelby) finished in a tie for 11th place at 151, sophomore Doug McCullough (Sleepy Hollow, Ill./St. Edward) tied for 23rd place with a 154 and sophomore Andrew McIlroy (Columbus/Upper Arlington) tied for 29th place at 156.
