Senior Michael Clinton (Troy, Mich.) and freshman Matt Kempton (Fredericktown) led the Bishops at Wilmington.

The dual meet was run in relay format. The teams were split into pairs of runners, with each team member completing 4 laps of the 1.25-mile course for a total of 10 miles. The meet was not scored.

Clinton and Kempton combined to turn in the lowest time in the meet, totaling 55:07 for 10 miles. Junior Bill Bedford (Strongsville/Strongsville) and freshman Kevin Goehring (Ann Arbor, MI/Pioneer) turned in the second-fastest time, finishing in 55:24, and freshman Doug Sampson (Ridgewood, N.J.) and freshman Will Crabtree (Winchester, Mass.) finished in 56:19 to place third.

Also competing for the Bishops were sophomore Jeff McClish (Shelby) and junior Josh Warner (Fremont/Ross), who finished ninth in 59:50; and freshman Seth Moore (Xenia/Yellow Springs) and junior David Robertson (Sharon Center/Highland), who placed 10th in 1:02.07.
