Cristina Briboneria scored to put Oberlin ahead to stay and Nicole Burford hit a pair of free throws in the final minute as Oberlin rallied to defeat
Ohio Wesleyan in North Coast Athletic Conference play on Saturday at Oberlin.

The win was Oberlin's first over Ohio Wesleyan since the 1990-91 season, snapping a string of 28 straight Bishop wins in the series.

Senior guard Krystal Sensabaugh (Wapakoneta) missed a 3-pointer on the Bishops' next possession, but Ohio Wesleyan got another chance when Reitz missed the front end of a one-and-one with :12 remaining and freshman post Tifini Ray (Hilliard/Davidson) cleared the rebound.

Oberlin's Amber Coleman sealed the win with a steal in the closing seconds.

Junior wing Kelly Heil (Sylvania/Southview) had 6 points and junior post Shelby Larson (Arlington Hts., Ill./Rolling Meadows) added 4 points during that stretch, which put the Bishops ahead, 34-24, with 3:41 left in the first half.

Ohio Wesleyan increased its lead to 45-32 on a lay-in and a 3-pointer by junior guard Celina Dopoulos (Strongsville) with 17:16 left in regulation time.

Oberlin chipped away, closing to within 49-43 on Quin Stubblefield's 3-pointer with 13:17 left, making it 51-48 on another Stubblefield 3-pointer, and finally tying the game at 55-55 on Burford's 3-pointer with 7:11 remaining.
