Senior Leah Cressman (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) led the Bishops at the Carl L. Broughton Invitational meet, hosted by Marietta College at the Broughton Nature Area in Marietta, Ohio.

Otterbein won the meet with 24 points to 80 for Ohio Wesleyan and 103 for Rio Grande. Heidelberg was fourth with 162 points, followed by Marietta (167), Alderson Broaddus (175), Muskingum (184), Seton Hill (187), Waynesburg (206), Bethany (242), Davis & Elkins (275), Ohio Valley (311), Glenville State (370) and Kentucky Christian (409).

Cressman finished in fifth place among individuals, covering the 6-kilometer course in a time of 25:51.81. Senior Liz Tullberg (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda Chevy Chase) placed 14th in 26:30.31, freshman Amanda Husted (Springfield/Greenon) finished 19th in 26:48.56, freshman Jillian Snyder (Lakewood) was 20th in 26:59.52 and sophomore Meggie Feran (Kirtland) completed the Bishop scoring with a 23rd-place finish in 27:12.28.

Freshman Wendy Farrell (Fremont/Ross) finished 24th in 27:18.81 and sophomore Emily Forbes (Pennington, N.J./Hopewell Valley Central) was 51st in 28:34.90.
