4th of 9 at Wooster Invitational

Senior Leah Cressman (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) led the Bishops at the Wooster Invitational meet on Saturday in Wooster.

Denison won the meet with 25 points to 39 for Ashland. Wooster was fourth with 87 points, followed by Ohio Wesleyan (93), Oberlin (161), Hiram (173), Cuyahoga Community College (195), Lake Erie (257) and Washington & Jefferson (258).

Cressman finished in 10th place among individuals, covering the 5-kilometer course in a time of 20:24. Freshman Amanda Husted (Springfield/Greenon) placed 14th in 20:48, senior Liz Tullberg (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda Chevy Chase) was 18th in 20:59, freshman Jillian Snyder (Lakewood) finished 33rd in 21:41 and freshman Wendy Farrell (Fremont/Ross) completed the Bishop scoring with a 34th-place finish in 21:44.

Sophomore Meggie Feran (Kirtland) finished 39th in 22:03 and sophomore Emily Forbes (Pennington, N.J./Hopewell Valley Central) was 48th in 22:24.
