Blair Deckard and Jenny Lacey scored first-half goals as Denison defeated Ohio Wesleyan in North Coast Athletic Conference play on Saturday at Granville.

Deckard scored off an assist from Karen Lancaster to give the Big Red a 1-0 lead 1:45 into the game.

Lacey added an unassisted goal with 19:17 left in the first half.

The Big Red outshot the Bishops, 13-3. Freshman Katie Jones (Pine Plains, N.Y./Stissing Mountain) had 4 saves in 60 minutes in the Ohio Wesleyan cage, while senior Liz Stone (Deep River, Conn./Valley Regional) was not tested during the final 10 minutes of action.

Becca Tavares had 3 saves for Denison.
