9th of 16 at Denison Ted Barclay SpringInvitational

Junior Justin Schroeder (Shelby) led the Bishops at the Ted Barclay Spring Invitational, hosted by Denison University on Saturday and Sunday at the Granville Country Club.

Otterbein won the tournament with a 586, 11 shots ahead of second-place Denison. Wooster finished third at 604, followed by Muskingum and Franklin (607), DePauw and Mount Union (608), John Carroll (609) and Ohio Wesleyan (611). Olivet rounded out the top 10 with a 614, followed by Wittenberg (616), Anderson (626), Baldwin-Wallace (629), Manchester (631), Kenyon (652) and Ohio Northern (670).

Schroeder finished in third place among individuals with a 142. Junior Doug McCullough (Sleepy Hollow, Ill./St. Edward) tied for 18th place with a 150, freshman Rory Hotaling (Yellow Springs) tied for 49th place at 157, junior Andrew McIlroy (Columbus/Upper Arlington) tied for 162nd place at 162 and freshman Jeff Tynik (Glen Rock, N.J./Don Bosco) tied for 80th place with a 169.
