4th of 16 at Wooster Invitational

April 15-16, 2005

Junior Justin Schroeder (Shelby) led the Bishops at the Wooster Invitational, hosted by the College of Wooster on Saturday and Sunday at the Wooster Country Club.

Otterbein won the tournament with a 614, 10 shots ahead of second-place Mount Union. DePauw finished third at 625, followed by Ohio Wesleyan (629), Olivet (631), John Carroll (632), Wooster and Baldwin-Wallace (634) and Wittenberg (635). Hope rounded out the top 10 with a 651, followed by Manchester (652), Hiram (667), Heidelberg (682), Ohio Northern (705), Kenyon (740) and Oberlin (742).

Schroeder tied for ninth place among individuals with a 142. Freshman Rory Hotaling (Yellow Springs) tied for 16th place at 157, junior Doug McCullough (Sleepy Hollow, Ill./St. Edward) and junior Andrew McIlroy (Columbus/Upper Arlington) tied for 23rd place with a 159 and junior Gerard Duffy (Charlotte, N.C./Canterbury (Conn.) School) tied for 46th place at 163.
