4th of 6 at Otterbein Fall Invitational

Junior Justin Schroeder (Shelby) led the Bishops at the Otterbein Fall Invitational on Monday at Rattlesnake Ridge Golf Course in Sunbury.

Otterbein won the tournament with a 36-hole total of 597, finishing 30 shots ahead of runner-up Denison. Columbus State finished in third place with a 631, followed by Ohio Wesleyan (635), Ohio Dominican (650) and Wilmington (709).

Schroeder finished in a fifth-place tie among individuals with an 8-over-par 152. Junior Paul Bertoli (Concord, Mass./Concord-Carlisle) tied for 13th place at 158, junior Gerard Duffy (Charlotte, N.C./Canterbury School) tied for 24th place with a 163 and junior Doug McCullough (Sleepy Hollow, Ill./St. Edward) and freshman Jeff Tynik (Glen Rock, N.J./Don Bosco) finished in a tie for 28th place at 167.
