hitter Emilee Schell (Newark/Newark Catholic) also contributed a kill
and senior middle hitter Melissa Hill (Medina) added a block. Otterbein

the Bishops within 25-24, the Cardinals finished the game with a 5-1 run
that included a pair of service aces by Beth Benedict.
Otterbein built a 20-8 lead in the third game, but the Bishops put together
another lengthy run during the third game, scoring 7 straight points to
close to within 20-15. Sophomore
middle hitter Megan Margala (Prospect/Marion
Elgin) had a block and a kill and sophomore libero Leslie Ranz (Pataskala/Watkins
Memorial) had a pair of service aces during that spurt. But the Cardinals
regrouped and held the Bishops at arm's length to end the game and the
match.

finished with 6 kills and Margala and sophomore
outside hitter Carly Palmer (Broadview Heights/Normandy) added 5 each.

Swisher (Boulder, Colo.) added
11 assists. Ranz had a team-high 12 digs and DiCarlo led the Bishops with

With the Bishops leading, 9-8, in the first game, the Ravens scored 7
straight points, getting a pair of blocks from Nikki DeMik. After Ohio
Wesleyan closed to within 17-13, the Ravens went on another run, scoring
8 straight points to put the game away.

contributing a kill and a service ace, to pad a 23-19 lead to a 27-19
