Sophomore Amanda Husted (Springfield/Greenon) led the Bishops at the Great Lakes Colleges Association championship meet on Saturday at Oberlin.

Denison won the meet with 28 points to 51 for Kenyon. Albion placed third with 100 points, followed by Oberlin (105), Wooster (111), Earlham (120), Ohio Wesleyan (151) and Kalamazoo (237).

Husted finished 23rd among individuals, finishing the 5000-meter course in a time of 20:52.1.

Freshman Donna Langerfeld (Syracuse, NY/Westhill) placed 27th in 21:02.5, sophomore Jillian Snyder (Lakewood) finished 32nd in 21:10.5, sophomore Andrea Minich (Plymouth/Willard) was 33rd in 21:12.4 and junior Nina DiTraglia (Portsmouth/Gilmour Academy) completed the Bishop scoring with a 36th-place finish in 21:25.1.

Junior Meggie Feran (Kirtland) placed 47th in 21:48.8 and sophomore Marie Rymut (Brecksville/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) was 49th in 21:52.1.
