Junior Meggie Feran (Kirtland) led the Bishops at the Polar Bear Invitational, hosted by Ohio Northern University on Saturday in Ada.

Allegheny won the meet with 27 points to 42 for runner-up Kenyon. Ohio Northern placed third with 54 points, followed by Ohio Wesleyan (110), Heidelberg (147), Bluffton (187), Wittenberg (200) and Oberlin (202).

Feran finished 15th among individuals, covering the 6000-meter course in a time of 24:53.52. Sophomore Amanda Husted (Springfield/Greenon) placed 19th in 25:15.23, junior Nina DiTraglia (Portsmouth/Gilmour Academy) finished 24th in 25:29.80, sophomore Marie Rymut (Brecksville/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) was 26th in 25:36.02 and sophomore Andrea Minich (Plymouth/Willard) completed the Bishop scoring with a 33rd-place finish in 25:49.95.

Freshman Jessica Nare (Camarillo, Calif./Adolfo Camarillo) placed 35th in 25:58.74 and sophomore Wendy Farrell (Fremont/Ross) was 38th in 26:13.40.
