Oct. 7 Women's Team Results - Led by individual champion Beata Rudzinska, Akron placed 2 runners in the top 10 and 4 in the top 25 to edge Ohio State for the team title by a score of 71-82. It was the Zips' first All-Ohio championship. Defending champion Kent State finished ninth. Cedarville won the NCAA Division II/NAIA title and Otterbein won the NCAA Division III title. Men's Team Results - Ohio State placed 3 runners in the top 10 to defeat Ohio University by a score of 64-75. It was the second straight team title and the third in 4 seasons for the Buckeyes. Malone won the NCAA Division II/NAIA title and Denison won the NCAA Division III title. Women's Individual Results - Rudzinska won the race by a margin of more than 20 seconds over runner-up Nicole Gliem of Ohio State. Last year's individual champion, Ruth Limo of Cincinnati, was a senior in 2004.
Men's Individual Results - Otterbein's Mike Sawicki won individual honors by a margin of nearly 10 seconds to become the Cardinals' first-ever individual All-Ohio champion. Last year's individual champion, Brian Oliver of Ohio State, did not compete.
