Freshman Kyle Martin (Dublin/Wellington) led Ohio Wesleyan at the GEICO Directo Spring Invitational on Sunday and Monday at Hunter Golf Club in Savannah, Ga.

Armstrong Atlantic won the tournament with a 54-hole total of 886, defeating Morehead State by 13 shots. Ferris State finished third at 914, followed by Northern Kentucky (918), Eastern Illinois (927), Loyola (Ill.) (929), Ohio Wesleyan (932), Lewis (937), Wright State (950) and Savannah State (964).

Martin finished in a tie for 29th place with a 234. Senior Justin Schroeder (Shelby) and senior Doug McCullough (Sleepy Hollow, Ill./St. Edward) tied for 31st place at 235, freshman Jeff Nieman (Loveland/Cincinnati Moeller) tied for 40th place with a 239 and sophomore Rory Hotaling (Yellow Springs) tied for 43rd place at 240. Senior Gerard Duffy (Charlotte, N.C./Canterbury (Conn.) School) finished in 51st place with a 247 and freshman Andy Schillig (Pataskala/Licking Heights) tied for 53rd place at 249.
