Freshman Kyle Martin (Dublin/Wellington) led the Bishops at the Muskingum Invitational on Friday and Saturday at Eaglesticks Golf Club in Zanesville.

Transylvania won the tournament with back-to-back rounds of 291 for a total of 582, 9 shots ahead of the Bishops. Baldwin-Wallace finished third at 592, followed by Muskingum (595), Mount Union (600), Denison (602), Hamilton (603), Wooster (612) and Calvin (614). Wittenberg rounded out the top 10 with a 619, followed by Ohio Northern (641), Heidelberg (655) and Kenyon (660). Capital did not finish.

Martin finished in a tie for 10th place among individuals with a 147. Senior Doug McCullough (Sleepy Hollow, Ill./St. Edward) tied for 14th with a 148, freshman Jeff Nieman (Loveland/Cincinnati Moeller) tied for 20th place at 149, sophomore Rory Hotaling (Yellow Springs) tied for 22nd place with a 150 and senior Justin Schroeder (Shelby) tied for 25th place at 151.
