T2nd of 18 at Wooster Nye Invitational

April 14-15, 2006

Senior Doug McCullough (Sleepy Hollow, Ill./St. Edward) led the Bishops at the Nye Intercollegiate tournament, hosted by the College of Wooster on Friday and Saturday at Wooster.

Otterbein won the tournament with a 596, 14 strokes ahead of Ohio Wesleyan and Allegheny. Hope finished in fourth place with a 616, followed by DePauw (624), Mount Union (629), Manchester (630), Wooster (638) and John Carroll (640). Baldwin-Wallace rounded out the top 10 with a 648, followed by Wittenberg (650), Denison (653), Wabash (656), Kenyon (668), Ohio Northern (675), Hiram and Heidelberg (709) and Oberlin (816).

McCullough finished in a tie for 10th place among individuals at 151. Freshman Jeff Nieman (Loveland/Cincinnati Moeller) tied for 13th place with a 153, senior Justin Schroeder (Shelby) finished in a tie for 16th at 154, freshman Kyle Martin (Dublin/Wellington) tied for 20th place at 155 and sophomore Rory Hotaling (Yellow Springs) tied for 29th place at 157.
