Sophomore Rory Hotaling (Yellow Springs) led the Bishops at the North Coast Athletic Conference championship tournament, hosted by Wittenberg University on Friday and Saturday at Windy Knoll Golf Club in Springfield.

Allegheny won the tournament with an 895, finishing 5 shots ahead of Ohio Wesleyan's total of 900. Host Wittenberg was third with a 922, followed by Wabash (948), Wooster (953), Denison (955), Kenyon (1009), Hiram (1023) and Oberlin (1093).

Hotaling won first-team All-NCAC honors by finishing second among individuals with a 54-hole total of 219. He finished one shot behind medalist Chris Moore of Allegheny.

Senior Justin Schroeder (Shelby) also earned first-team All-NCAC honors, finishing fifth with a total of 226.

Freshman Jeff Nieman (Loveland/Cincinnati Moeller) won second-team All-NCAC laurels by finishing in a tie for eighth place at 230.

Senior Doug McCullough (Sleepy Hollow, Ill./St. Edward) finished in a tie for 12th place at 232 and freshman Kyle Martin (Dublin/Wellington) finished in 19th place with a 237.
