3rd of 15 at Wittenberg Tiger Invitational

Senior Doug McCullough (Sleepy Hollow, Ill./St. Edward) led the Bishops at the Wittenberg Tiger Invitational on Saturday and Sunday in Springfield.

Allegheny won the tournament with a 2-day total of 577, 8 shots ahead of Otterbein and 30 shots ahead of the Battling Bishops. Baldwin-Wallace finished in fourth place at 613, followed by John Carroll and Denison (625), Wittenberg and Centre (628) and Wooster (641). Wabash rounded out the top 10 finishers with a 647, followed by Wilmington (655), Ohio Northern (663), Kenyon (683), Capital (692) and Hiram (698).

McCullough finished in a fourth-place tie in the individual standings with a 4-over-par 147. Sophomore Rory Hotaling (Yellow Springs) tied for 17th place at 153, senior Justin Schroeder (Shelby) tied for 22nd place at 154, freshman Andy Schillig (Pataskala/Licking Heights) tied for 32nd place with a 156 and senior Gerard Duffy (Charlotte, N.C./Canterbury (Conn.) School) finished in a tie for 40th place at 159.
