Ohio Wesleyan 13, Oberlin 1

Senior attacker Jarred Law (Littleton, Colo./Arapahoe) and sophomore midfielder Nick Gallagher (Columbus/Dublin Scioto) scored 3 goals apiece as Ohio Wesleyan reeled off the first 11 goals of the game on the way to a win over Oberlin in the Bishops' North Coast Athletic Conference opener on Wednesday in Oberlin.

The Bishops led, 3-0, after the first quarter and by margins of 6-0 at halftime and 8-0 after 3 quarters.

Law led Ohio Wesleyan with 4 goals and an assist, while Gallagher finished with 3 goals. Sophomore midfielder Harrison Iuliano (Mendham, N.J./Blair Academy) and sophomore midfielder Chris Eccles (Secane, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) contributed 2 goals apiece.

Ian Dias scored the Oberlin goal.

Sophomore Ryan Perone (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Prep) went the distance in the Ohio Wesleyan goal and was credited with 5 saves.

Jared Pickard made 11 saves for Oberlin.
