Sophomore McCarton Ackerman (Stamford, Conn./Westminster School) posted Ohio Wesleyan's only win as the Bishops opened their season with a North Coast Athletic Conference loss to Wooster on Tuesday at Gordon Field House.

Ackerman won a split-set decision at No. 3 singles.
