Ohio Wesleyan 34, Kenyon 36, Oberlin 50

Junior Matt Kempton (Fredericktown) led the Bishops as Ohio Wesleyan won a triangular meet with Oberlin and Kenyon on Saturday at Oberlin. The Bishops edged Kenyon, 34-36, with Oberlin finishing with 50 points.

Kempton finished third among individuals, completing the 5000-meter course in 16:25.6. Junior Seth Moore (Xenia/Yellow Springs) was fifth in 16:35.1, junior Doug Sampson (Ridgewood, N.J.) finished sixth in 16:40.0, freshman Clay Davis (Dublin/Coffman) placed ninth in 16:48 and freshman David Stefanik (Wooster) completed the Bishop scoring with an 11th-place finish in 16:52.2.

Junior Will Crabtree (Winchester, Mass.) finished 17th in a time of 16:58.02 and junior Kevin Goehring (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) was 18th in 16:59.3.
