Ohio Wesleyan 7, Allegheny 2

Sophomore Kristen Carney (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) and senior Andra Kaleps (Huber Heights/Wayne) were double winners, leading Ohio Wesleyan past North Coast Athletic Conference rival Allegheny on Sunday in Meadville, Pa.

Carney won at No. 4 singles and teamed with junior Katie Figgie (Pepper Pike/Gilmour Academy) for a win at No. 2 doubles, while Kaleps won at No. 6 singles and combined with sophomore Kirsten Pfund (Libertyville, Ill.) to win at No. 3 doubles.

Senior Heidi Younker (Columbus/Dublin Coffman) won at No. 1 singles, junior Laura Bernstein (Greenwich, Conn.) won at No. 2 singles and junior Kelly Schlessman (Sandusky/Perkins) won at No. 5 singles to round out the Ohio Wesleyan scoring.
