Ohio Wesleyan 9, Case Reserve 0

Senior Heidi Younker (Columbus/Dublin Coffman), junior Laura Bernstein (Greenwich, Conn.), junior Katie Figgie (Pepper Pike/Gilmour Academy), junior Ali Long (Atlanta, Ga./Centennial) and sophomore Kristen Carney (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) were double winners as Ohio Wesleyan blanked Case Reserve in non-conference play on Saturday in Cleveland.

Younker and Bernstein posted wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles respectively and combined to win at No. 1 doubles, Figgie and Long won at No. 3 and No. 4 singles respectively and teamed to win at No. 2 doubles, and Carney won at No. 5 singles and paired with sophomore Kirsten Pfund (Libertyville, Ill.) to win at No. 3 doubles.

Junior Kelly Schlessman (Sandusky/Perkins) posted a come-from-behind 3-6, 7-6 (7-2), 14-12 win at No. 6 singles to complete the Ohio Wesleyan sweep.
