at Denison Cross Country Festival

Freshman Catie Coleman (Medina/Lodi Cloverleaf) led Ohio Wesleyan at the Denison Cross Country Festival on Friday in Granville. The meet, which included Ohio Wesleyan, Oberlin, Kenyon, Wooster and Denison, was not scored.

Coleman finished sixth among individuals, clocking a time of 20:33 for the 5000-meter course.

Senior Meggie Feran (Kirtland) finished eighth in 20:49, freshman Leah Schmelzer (Marion/Pleasant) followed in ninth place in 21:02, senior Nina DiTraglia (Portsmouth/Gilmour Academy) was 11th in 21:10, freshman Laura Binkley (Columbus/Bishop Watterson) placed 18th in 22:01, junior Laura Bange (Cincinnati/St. Ursula) finished 26th in 22:25 and junior Andrea Minich (Plymouth/Willard) was 29th in 23:10.

Sophomore Donna Langerfeld (Syracuse, NY/Westhill) was Ohio Wesleyan's top finisher in the 3200-meter race, finishing 14th in a time of 14:04.
